Senior Intelligence Analyst
Morton Security is a protective security company, focused on creating unique solutions for commercial and non-profit organizations to operate efficient and safe.
Based near Charleston, SC, Morton Security seeks outside consulting support to deliver critical decision-making information to our diverse set of clients, which range from Fortune 500 companies to Humanitarian Organizations.
Ideal candidates will have strong business acumen, strong analytical and writing capabilities, and knowledge/experience in Global Intelligence Analysis, to assist in analytical project-based needs and selected work on client projects.
Detailed Description
Working as an independent contractor, the candidate will support daily analytical reports and intermittent topic driven analytical products that support client decision making, regarding physical security threats, geopolitical events, terrorism, criminal trends, natural disasters (including climate change) and financial sector threats, globally.
Typical Project Assignments

Analyze events via news media and other sources and write daily/event based reports with analytical comments.

Be available to brief reports virtually to clients upon request.

Infrequent analytical products based on client request and need.

Periodic analytical support during global crisis situations.

Advance intelligence collection and analysis for protective security details.

Preferred Experience
B.S. or M.S degree and a minimum of 10 years of intelligence collection and analysis as well as global security experience.
Established consulting firm or business with professional liability insurance coverage.
Intermediate level proficiency with MS Office tools, including MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Publisher, and MS PowerPoint.
Demonstrated excellence in writing skills (analytical writing examples will be required before employment consideration).
Candidates with distinguished academic achievement, a high level of personal integrity, a strong interest in Global Security, a high level of energy and a strong desire to learn are welcomed.
Contracts are only awarded upon approval including a background investigation, insurance confirmation and interview with the CEO.
